Presently in development, the oleic leveraged actuator couples a pneumatic servo actuator with a proprietary oil intensification stage – the latter being engaged at the end of an advance stroke. Ideal for resistance welding and pressing applications, both stages are bundled into one package along with a proprietary valve and controller. The design allows for continuous monitoring of force and position through both the advance and power strokes, and the oil intensification principal enables extremely high actuator forces with minimal air consumption.
The specific version in development will have a power stroke of 0.25” capable of generating a continuously variable force up to 2400 lbf. The advance stroke is 6” and is also continuously variable. Please contact the factory for further details.
